Radial tires are a significant upgrade in every performance category over standard Bias Ply Constructed Tires. They last longer, rider smoother and quieter and track better than Bias Ply Tires.
Aluminum Wheels are not just about the great looks. They are lighter, stronger and since they are cast, they have tighter tolerances than a welded steel wheel. They also run cooler. We'll go back to "They look great." We believe that Trailers deserve cool looking wheels too.
Your standard trailer tires will eventually wear out. When you are ready to replace your standard tires, it's a great time to go to radials. The performance improvement and better wear far outweigh the difference in price in our opinion. You will feel the difference in ride quality between a bias tire to a radial tire.

A short technical description on the difference between Radial and Bias Ply Tires
Bias tires are constructed through a different manufacturing technique as well as differing in the type of rubber used in the compounding process (as a rule - synthetic rubber for radials - natural rubber for bias. You can equate this to synthetic oil vs. standard oil). Internally, bias tires have the plies (support) of nylon/polyester cords laid at a 30-45 degree angle which typically alternate direction between plies: hence the name bias. Bias tires are sometimes referred to as cross-ply as well. The bias "footprint" of the tire does flex/distort under load which decreases heat dissipation as well as decreasing the life of the tread.
A radial tire is constructed with rubber coated; reinforcing polyester/steel cable belts that are assembled parallel and run from side to side (bead to bead) at an angle of 90 degrees to the circumferential centerline of the tire (hence the name radial). This makes the tire more flexible which reduces rolling resistance to improve fuel economy. Numerous rubber coated steel belts are then constructed into the "crown" of the tire (under the tread) to from a strong two-stage unit which helps in heat dissipation as well as puncture resistance.

A: The new covers are designed for outdoor use and are custom fit to each trailer. The double stitched, interlocked seams offer superior strength and water resistance. The new trailer covers are made from 100% Polyester; old covers were made from Nylon. While both materials are durable and lightweight, polyester is faster drying and more abrasion resistant. Both Polyester and Nylon are hydrophobic (meaning they don’t absorb water), but polyester resists pilling better than nylon and has better water-wicking ability, which means it is much faster drying than nylon. Finally, when it comes to color retention, because of its water-wicking ability, dyed polyester expels the water in the dye but not the dye itself, which bonds to the fibers. The result: longer lasting color with little fading.
Q: Are you saying that my Kendon trailer will rust?
A: Yes. Kendon uses the best industrial finishes available for long term durability. Depending on how harsh the climate and the length of time, any finish will eventually be affected by the elements.

The Kendon Dual-Rail Ride-Up SRL Folding Stand-Up™ Motorcycle Trailer is the flagship of the Kendon line. Ride-on capabilities
Thanks to our Suspension Reactive Loading (SRL) frame geometry and suspension design you can ride your bikes onto the trailer, making it much easier to load heavy, full-size bikes. As you ride your bike onto the trailer the suspension compresses under the weight of the bike, virtually eliminating the ramp-to-trailer apex. Once the bike is loaded, the suspension springs back up and levels the trailer.

Safety first
Our Ride-Up models feature wider loading ramps, wider rear sections, and foot extensions to provide safe foot placement when you ride the bike onto or back the bike off of the trailer.

Room for two

Dual Ride-Up SRL Trailer Retrofit Kit Product Description
Kendon's New Dual Ride-Up SRL Trailer Retrofit Kit provides a simple upgrade to the latest Dual Ride-Up SRL technology. Dual ride on motorcycle trailers are an easy loading solution for everything from lightweight street bikes to heavyweight touring motorcycles. These folding trailers for motorcycles combine ride-on convenience with lightweight user-friendly design.
A 2003 or newer round tube standard Dual trailer is required for this conversion kit to work (sold separately).
The conversion kit for Dual Rail Motorcycle Trailers incorporates Kendon's SRL technology without the need to change major axle parts or purchasing a whole new trailer. The Dual Ride-Up SRL Motorcycle Trailer incorporates our SRL technology that was first introduced on the Single Ride-Up SRL Folding Trailers. SRL, or "Suspension Reactive Loading," eliminates the apex created by a traditional ramp angle and the bed of the trailer when loading and unloading motorcycles. The patented independent torsion bar suspension on Kendon folding motorcycle trailers works with the trailer loading ramp to eliminate the apex and creates a smooth parallel surface with a much lower angle for loading and unloading. SRL ("Suspension Reactive Loading") technology uses the motorcycles weight to compresses and lower the bed of the trailer while loading and raises it back up to towing height after the bike is fully loaded onto the trailer.

Dual-Rail Ride-Up SRL Folding Stand-Up™ Motorcycle Trailer
The Kendon Dual-Rail Ride-Up SRL Folding Stand-Up™ Motorcycle Trailer is the flagship of the Kendon line. Designed to perform and built to last, this trailer is the perfect combination of form and function in one excellent, space-saving package.When in use, the Dual-Rail Ride-Up trailer provides ride-on loading capabilities, carrying capacity of up to two full-size motorcycles and Kendon’s renowned towing performance.When in storage, this trailer takes up about the same space as a standard bedroom dresser or chest of drawers.

Ride-on capabilities
Thanks to our Suspension Reactive Loading (SRL) frame geometry and suspension design you can ride your bikes onto the trailer, making it much easier to load heavy, full-size bikes. As you ride your bike onto the trailer the suspension compresses under the weight of the bike, virtually eliminating the ramp-to-trailer apex. Once the bike is loaded, the suspension springs back up and levels the trailer.

Safety first
Our Ride-Up models feature wider loading ramps, wider rear sections, and foot extensions to provide safe foot placement when you ride the bike onto or back the bike off of the trailer.

Room for two
The Dual-Ride-up trailer features a wide expanded metal/diamond plate deck area designed to hold up to two full-size bikes such as Harley-Davidsons, GoldWings, K1600s, adventure bikes, etc. The heavy-duty torsion-bar axle and hub combination give the Dual-Rail its full 2,000-lbs. carrying capacity. When carrying only one bike, the independent torsion suspension allows for loading on either side of the trailer. Optional center rail trailer accessories are available for towing a motorcycle in the center of the trailer.
